Wildlife Safari In Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is the first wildlife reserve of India. It covers 500 sq km area in the foothills of Himalaya. This park is named on a British hunter “Jim Corbett” who was very famous to hunt the man-eating tigers and leopards in the Kumaon in 1920s.

Corbett Park is very famous for its wide ranging wildlife. Main species of mammals found inside Corbett National Park are Elephant, Tiger, Barking Dear, Sloth Dear, Hogg Dear, Himalayan Bear, Wild Boar, Jackal, Monkeys. Famous reptiles found Crocodile, King Cobra many more and 600 species of birds.

Every year thousands of tourist’s come here to explore the wildlife of Corbett Park. Main zones of Corbett Park are Dhikala zone, Bijrani Zone, Jhirna Zone, Durga Devi Zone. One can enjoy wildlife in those zones through Gypsy, Canter and Elephant.

Morning Safari Time: 6:00 am to 9:00 am

Evening Safari Time: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Canter Safari Timings:

Morning Safari Time: 5:30 am to 11:30 am

Evening Safari Time: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Elephant Safari Timings:

Morning Safari Time: 7:00 am to 9:00 am

Evening Safari Time: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
